MONACO Azur / Gracieux

Description

Some people shine thanks to their tiny existences. Certain graceful gestures captivate our hearts because they are sketched with all discretion. Man has forged the noble spirit over time, and this has caused our society to evolve. Currently, this heritage is on the verge of disappearing in the face of human desires that no longer know its limits. Even art, supposed to reflect the state of the soul, risks losing its hold on aesthetics and self-control in the face of the craze for multiple unprincipled choices made possible by the latest technologies.

Yet, at such a turning point in values, the story of a country was born, in thirty-two carefully selected photographs that will never cease to be told. A moment, a space captured by a discreet gesture, only a small camera that fits in the palm of the hand could achieve it. The past, present, and future of the country are represented in these images. Located on the French Riviera, Monaco is the second smallest country in the world.

Mikiya Takimoto pressed the camera button with serenity, as if in prayer. Through the succession of landscapes, a message appears, it seems to me, that tells us how to face this world and save this beautiful planet.
Will you share this feeling with me?
