Description
“What I photograph holds no intrinsic interest in itself. There is no preexisting subject in my images. What engages me is the relationship between things. Beyond mere correspondences — or even resonances — the word ‘consonance’ suggests that elements not only respond to one another, but that they derive their meaning through mutual relation. Though I’m not a musician, I often feel as if I’m composing a kind of music with all the ‘notes’ — both formal and conceptual — that appear within my field of vision at a given moment. Suddenly, everything becomes essential, and chaos begins to sound right.”, Adrien Boyer
